Rest & recharge in a peaceful and ideally-located cottage.
Far from madding crowd … but only just …. 3 minutes walk from all the wonders and weirdness that Glastonbury High Street is famous for.
Relax in your own little retreat in the heart of town, quiet, restful and restorative. The whole house is for you to enjoy including a garden that offers a space in nature, without any traffic passing by and a garage to park your car/store bikes for your rides to the levels. Blissful!
Holly Tree Cottage was built in the 1890s but has been much improved since then (you’ll be glad to know). It has a bright and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Also on the ground floor is a room where you can work, rest, play, read or do your daily sun salutations 🧘 Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with walk in shower. Storage with hanging rails can be found in 2 of the bedrooms with extra in the landing cupboard.
Outside, accessed via the french-doors in the lounge or front door is a patio and small decked area for you to enjoy the south-facing garden. There are seating & dining areas to enjoy. The garden is fully enclosed, so if travelling with your furry family they’ll be safe. It contains and array of plants & shrubs to attract pollinators and promote biodiversity. The generous garage is operated via an electric roller door on remote fob.
The house is cleaned using a variety of non toxic cleaning products from “Method” and “Homethings”. These ensure a deep clean without plastic waste and not contributing destroying and polluting our spaces.
Glastonbury High Street is less than a 5 minute level walk. Here you will find an array of shops where you can purchase anything from incense to mandalas and essential oils and general supplies. It has a diverse range of beliefs catered for. The numerous cafes and eateries add to its vibrancy and quirkiness. The Abbey which is in the town centre is definitely worth a visit where it is believed King Arthur is buried.
